Melotronic Recordings - is the digital Internet label the first in Russia focused on vintage 80th-electro-techno-nuwave-synthesis-robot-punk sounding in drum and bass. It was founded by two musicians Maksim Shifty and Dmitry Raytem in Saint-Petersburg city in the middle of 2008. At first label was created as a platform for publishing only own music by Shifty and Raytem, but for now there are many tracks and upcoming releases by other artists such as Implex, Liquilade, Plater...

The basic distinctive feature of works presented on label Melotronic is presence of the powerful melodic part executed in electro/trancy moods, sometimes with easy shades of the "dramatic character" of songs of 80th years. And other component of sounding of the label is collaboration of the different robots voxes, groovy synthesizers and 8bit samples.
